ABOUT US

Roast and Barista College is a sole proprietorship business incorporated in Kenya, The company was duly registered in compliance with Registration Names Act.

The Company has its physical address at NKPCU Building Wakulima House 3rd Floor.  Our approach is to establish a fresh feel in the coffee dealership market and in turn create a stamp in the coffee industry.

At Roast and Barista, we buy and sort green coffee beans or ground coming in size of  250g, 500g and 1Kg under the brand name Aamazing Grade Premium Coffee.

Roast and Barista also runs a consultancy in the coffee industry, outsourcing of green coffee beans from around East Africa.

We also do in house barista and coffee brewers training to ensure that international standards are met to the delight of coffee enthusiasts.  

Our barista training school sets it's sight at impacting coffee brewing and preparation.

BARISTA TRAINING

Our Barista's are impacted with in depth knowledge on the coffee plant from the bean to cup. we organize visits to help them understand the various stages a value addition. This may include a visit to the farm, wet mill, the auction and roastery all in a bid to give them an upper hand from fellow baristas from other schools. In addition to barista skills our students are trained on customer relation, price setting, coffee shop management and waiting making them all rounders in the hospitality industry.

Examinations

Our exams are internal but with international standards as our trainers have gone through the best international accreditation in coffee brewing and barista. CQI and SCA. We boast some of the best barista curriculum in Kenya and East Africa.

OUR TRAINERS

LEAD EXTRACTER IN CHARGE OF TRAINING

With over 20 years of experience, Mr. Peter Kariuki is a certified coffee cupper, barista and master roaster. He has worked in all sectors of the coffee value chain starting from a wet mill at Kabonge, a dry mill KPCU Sagana, a marketing agent KCCE, a coffee dealer Leavins and a specialty coffee shop barista and co. it was with this vast knowledge that he seeks to impact coffee enthusiasts and connoisseurs to bridge the gap between the farmer and coffee lovers.

Quality control through vigorous cupping criteria on all pre-shipment and type samples. Dedicated team focused on all processes in the value chain. Provision of hedging facilities to manage risk.

QUALITY

We believe that quality coffee starts from the farm level throughout the supply chain to the consumer hence will always be keen to meet customer's standards by ensuring traceability and good hygiene in post harvesting, handling/logistics and final delivery through inspection, analysis and certification prior to export and local supply.
