The company has its physical address at NKPCU Building Wakulima House 3rd Floor Rm *. Our approach is to establish a fresh feel in the coffee dealership market and in turn create a stamp in the coffee industry. 

at Roast and barista, we buy and sort green coffee beans or coffee in its post-milling stage and ship it through our forwarding agents or sell to our buyers locally

Roast and barista also deals in roasted coffee available as roasted coffee beans or ground coming in sizes of 250g, 500g and 1kg under the brand name Ààmazing grade coffee

Roast and barista also runs a consultancy in the coffee industry, out sourcing of green coffee beans from around East Africa. We also do in house barista and coffee brewers training to ensure that international standards are met to the delight of coffee enthusiasts.

Our baristas are impacted with in-depth knowledge on the coffee plant from the bean to cup. We organise visits to help them understand the various stages of value addition. This may include a visit to the farm, wet mill, dry mill, the auction and the roastery all in a bid to give them an upper hand from fellow baristas from other schools

In addition to barista skills our students are trained on customer relations, price setting, coffee shop management and waiting making the the all rounders in the hospitality industry.

 

Our exams are internal but with international standards as our trainers have gone through the best internation accreditation in coffee brewing and barista. CQI and SCA.

With over 20 years of experience, Mr Peter kariuki is a certified coffee cupper, barista and master roaster.
He has worked in all sectors of the coffee value chain starting from a wet mill at kabonge, a dry mill, kpcu sagana, a marketing agent KCCE, a coffee dealer Le-alvins, and a specialty coffee shop barista and co.
It is with this vast knowledge that he seeks to impact coffee enthusiasts and connoisseurs to bridge the gap between the farmers and coffee lovers.

We source for our quality coffees direct from the Nairobi Coffee Exchange or from contract farmers

We offer both washed (mild) and none-washed (hard) Arabica.

We believe that quality coffee starts from the farm level throughout the supply chain to theconsumer hence will always be keen to meet consumers’ standards by ensuring traceability and good hygiene in post-harvesting, handling/logistics and final delivery through inspection, analyses and certification prior to export or local supplies.
